In August of 2009, Paul Haddad and Rachel Zbiegien – two exemplary students entering their final year of elementary school, were each awarded $1,000 in receipt of the annual Michelle’s Wish Scholarship for the 2009-2010 school year. The award was based on their outstanding academic qualifications, the strong recommendations of various members of faculty and their embodiment of attributes important to the Foundation, including 1) a celebration and love of life and family, 2) a possession of beauty – both inside and out, 3) an admirable strength amidst adversity and 4) an effortless care for and positive impact on others.

Congratulations to Lisa Perme and Katelyn Mulhall,  recipients of the Ursuline College Nursing Scholarship Award this Spring, 2009.  This grant, through the Michelle's Wish Education and Scholarship Program, awarded $1,000 to each recipient. Presentation of these awards will take place after Easter.
