In the Fall of 2008, Joe Regalbuto and Samantha Sloat, were each awarded $1,000 in receipt of the annual Michelle's Wish Scholarship for the 2008-2009 school year. The award was based on their outstanding academic qualifications, their strong recommendations by various members of faculty and their embodiment of attributes important to the Foundation, including 1) a celebration and love of life and family, 2) a possession of beauty ? both inside and out, 3) an admirable strength amidst adversity and 4) an effortless care for and positive impact on others
